PURPOSE FITNESS ADELAIDE

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Purpose Fitness Adelaide (“we”, “our”, “us”) respects your privacy and takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose information when you visit our website, submit an enquiry or lead form, interact with our advertisements, communicate with us, purchase services or participate in our fitness programs.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect personal information including:

2. How We Collect Information

We collect information when you complete forms on our website or social media, contact us by phone, SMS or email, sign up for programs or memberships, make purchases, participate in coaching or assessments, or interact with our website and advertisements.

3. How We Use Your Information

We may use your information to:

4. Health and Fitness Information

At Purpose Fitness Adelaide, your health, safety and wellbeing are important to us. To provide appropriate fitness coaching, we may request information about your health, injuries, medical history, physical limitations, training experience and fitness goals. You provide this information voluntarily, with your consent, or where collection is otherwise permitted by law. We use this information to understand your needs, identify relevant health considerations, modify exercises where appropriate, provide safer and more personalised coaching, and monitor your progress. You are responsible for providing information that is accurate and up to date to the best of your knowledge and informing your coach of relevant changes. You may decline to provide certain information or withdraw consent to its use where legally permitted. However, if essential health or safety information is unavailable, we may be unable to provide particular training services safely. We take reasonable steps to protect health information and only use or disclose it for legitimate purposes, with consent or as otherwise permitted or required by law.

5. Marketing Communications

We may contact you by phone, SMS, email or social media regarding your enquiry, membership or services. We obtain marketing consent where required by law. You may opt out of promotional communications at any time by following unsubscribe instructions or contacting us directly. Opting out of marketing does not prevent essential membership or service communications.

6. Advertising, Cookies and Analytics

Our website uses Meta Pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, to report PageView events on our public homepage and Privacy Policy page for website and advertising measurement. When enabled, the Pixel shares page-visit information, cookie identifiers, IP address and browser/device information with Meta. Meta may use permitted information for advertising delivery and optimisation under its terms and may process it outside Australia. We do not send enquiry form contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, health information, fitness assessments, payment information or customer matching data through the Pixel, and do not report Lead or Purchase events. Automatic event detection and advanced matching are not enabled by this installation. We block tracking on URLs with query parameters, sensitive referrers and unreviewed customer pages to reduce the risk of disclosing personal information. Advertising tracking is off until a choice is made in regions requiring consent or where the visitor’s region is uncertain. A privacy banner is shown outside positively identified Australian and New Zealand visits as a conservative precaution. In Australia and New Zealand, ordinary page-visit measurement is enabled unless you reject it or an applicable browser privacy signal indicates an opt-out. Acceptance and rejection are equally available. Cookie settings, available at the bottom of every page, lets you reject advertising cookies or withdraw previous acceptance at any time. Opening settings does not change your current choice. Withdrawal takes effect immediately for future events, including other open tabs, but does not undo information already shared with Meta. We retain your choice, a browser-specific visitor reference, the time, region and notice shown in this browser’s site storage; a later withdrawal preserves the earlier acceptance record. Clearing site storage removes this local record and requires a new choice where consent is needed. Blocked page visits are not replayed after later acceptance. Browser cookie controls and privacy signals can also restrict tracking. This installation does not add Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager.

7. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers assisting our business, including website hosting, customer relationship management, payment processing, membership management, booking, email, SMS, advertising and analytics platforms. These may include GoHighLevel, Stripe, Zen Planner and Meta. We may also disclose information where required or authorised by law.

8. Overseas Data Handling

Some service providers operate internationally and may store or process information outside Australia. Where overseas disclosure occurs, we take reasonable steps as required by applicable Australian privacy laws to protect personal information.

9. Storage and Security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information against misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification and disclosure. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes or legal requirements, and take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify information when no longer required. No electronic storage or transmission method is completely secure.

10. Access and Correction

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you or request corrections to inaccurate information. Contact us using the details below.

11. Privacy Complaints

If you have concerns about how we handle personal information, please contact us. We will review your complaint and respond within a reasonable timeframe. You may also be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au.

12. Third-Party Websites

Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.

13. Children's Privacy

Where we provide services involving minors, we take appropriate steps to obtain parental or guardian consent where required.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be published on this page.
